Tobacco Contest is Fini!

All good things come to an end. Don’t know who said that, maybe Zeno. He’s the guy running around with Zeus and those fellows who was saying: the only thing consistent about change is change itself. He was a pretty decent politician of his time.

Anyway, the pipe tobacco contest has come to an end. It was fun to create, and I hope fun for you to work out, but it has become too much work for just a one-person show.

The contest has taken me away from what I do best (hopefully). That is to keep you informed of tobacco’s latest news and legislation and what it means to smokers.

So, with that said, the tobacco contest is fini.

Crying towels allowed.

Oh how sad. Yes it is amazing how much time all the little things can take and add up to, and that was not the main focus of your project, after all. And your Fall’s vicissitudes did not leave a lot of time for anything. Perhaps when things smooth out you can return to it.

I would volunteer to help you but the border produces certain limitations on that sort of thing.

For one I would appreciate a chance to read the other entries if you get a chance, I know I found the 25 word limitation quite a challenge, and would like to see how others handled it.

    Thanks again,
    Al (in Canada)
